A Purpose-Built Infinite Card for Enrich and Dining Spend
The Hong Leong Bank Infinite Credit Card is the highest-tier card available to public customers within HLB’s lineup. Unlike most premium cards that rely on bank reward points, this card earns Enrich Points directly, making its value proposition especially clear for users who focus on Malaysia Airlines redemptions.
The card’s strongest feature lies in its dining rewards. Cardholders earn 1 Enrich Point for every RM1 spent on dining, both locally and overseas. This effectively delivers a 1:1 earn rate, placing it among the most competitive dining-focused miles cards in the market for Enrich collectors.
Other spending categories are more modest. Travel-related transactions and retail shopping at clothing and departmental stores earn 1 Enrich Point for every RM4 spent, while all other eligible spending earns 1 Enrich Point for every RM6 spent, regardless of whether transactions are local or overseas. As such, the card is best optimised when used selectively rather than as an all-purpose spender.
Travel benefits include 4 complimentary Plaza Premium Lounge visits per year, covering key airports in Malaysia and Singapore. In Malaysia, lounge access extends beyond KLIA to include Penang, Langkawi and Senai Airports, a rare inclusion among premium cards. Notably, lounge access does not require a minimum spend condition, enhancing its usability for occasional travellers.
Doctor’s Edition eligibility: HLB also offers an Infinite Doctor’s Edition variant with a significantly lower income requirement of RM48,000 per annum. Eligibility is restricted to medical doctors registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and dentists registered with the Malaysian Dental Council (MDC). All card benefits, rewards structure and privileges remain identical to the standard HLB Infinite Credit Card.
Additional features include access to Visa Digital Concierge services and full support for Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay. The standard minimum income requirement is RM100,000 per annum. The card carries a lifetime annual fee waiver, eliminating long-term holding costs.
Verdict: The HLB Infinite Credit Card is best suited for high-income users who primarily collect Enrich miles and spend heavily on dining. While its rewards on non-dining categories are unremarkable, the combination of direct Enrich earning, no annual fee and unconditional lounge access—especially at Senai Airport—makes it a compelling niche premium card. For eligible medical professionals, the Doctor’s Edition effectively removes the income barrier, making this one of the most accessible Infinite-tier Enrich cards in the market.
