An Accessible Rewards Card for Your Daily Essentials

The Alliance Bank Visa Platinum Credit Card is an excellent entry-level rewards card designed to turn your routine expenses into valuable points. With a very accessible minimum annual income requirement of RM24,000, it offers a solid 5x Three-year Bonus Points (TBP) for every RM1 spent on essential categories including dining, groceries, petrol, and overseas transactions. This makes it a highly practical "starter" card for fresh graduates or budget-conscious shoppers looking to maximize their rewards on everyday necessities.

Modern convenience is a priority with this card, as it fully supports Google Pay and Samsung Pay. You can enjoy the same 5x TBP accelerators whether you are tapping your phone at a local café or shopping on international websites. Additionally, Alliance Bank’s signature Three-year Bonus Points system gives you ample time to accumulate enough points for significant redemptions, such as flight vouchers or lifestyle products, without the constant pressure of points expiring quickly.

Aligned with Alliance Bank’s commitment to sustainability and inclusivity, the card is made from 100% recycled PVC and features a Blind Notch for the visually impaired. With the annual fee waived for the first year and free supplementary cards, it provides a low-maintenance way to enter the rewards ecosystem while enjoying the premium protection of the Visa network.

Verdict: A perfect balance of low entry requirements and high daily rewards. If you spend mostly on groceries, petrol, and dining, this card offers a reliable way to earn rewards without the high income commitment of elite-tier cards.
